Brief Introduction

Shandong Provincial Chemical Planning & Design Institute (SCPDI) was established in 1958. After decades years, it has been developed into not only a competitive engineering company with chemical project engineering as main field but a conglomerate enterprise which integrate its business with engineering, project consultancy, general contract as well as Completed Projects.

Over the past 40 years, SCPDI has been engaged in project consultancy, project planning and engineering and has completed more than 1000 planning and design items for many industry fields, such as coal chemical plants, salt chemical plants, nature gas chemical plants, fine chemical plants, petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, agricultural chemical plants, rubber product plants, light industrial plants as well as civil architectures and buildings, thermal and electrical generation station, district heating system, environment protection items. Up to now, SCPDI has successfully developed its business in more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in china. Besides this, SCPDI is also active in international cooperation. It has cooperated with more than 10 foreign companies from Japan, France, America, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden. Furthermore, SCPDI also has completed supervision, consultation and contracting work for over 30 large and medium scaled projects, which gained SCPDI experience in relative work. SCPDI is specialized in ammonia synthesis, urea, NPK fertilizer, nitric acid, nitrates, chromium salt, formic acid, melamine, titanium dioxide pigment, isocyanic ester, chloroepoxy propane production process and technology, and at the same time, it owns several patents and know-how in the above-mentioned fields.

In resent years, SCPDI has gained “National Engineering Design Quality Prize”, provincial and ministerial “Engineering Design Quality Prize” and “Scientific and Technical Progress Prize” for over 40 times. Moreover SCPDI has attained the honor of “National Superior Enterprise in Chemical Project Construction”, “Top Service Class A Institute ”, “Provincial Construction Field Management Model Enterprise”, “Provincial Superior Enterprise on Quality Assurance”, “Provincial Superior Enterprise on Computer Application” and “Provincial Credit Enterprise” entitled by National Chemical Bureau and Shandong Provincial Administrative.
